Wonderful gym for both kids and adults. Aside from the amazing coaches and training, the gym as a whole is very family-oriented. They are upfront about costs on the site, (unlike all other gyms in the area), No contract to keep you locked in, and they offer a trial so you can decide which classes and schedule would work best for your family. Coach Joe does amazing teaching the teen self defense class and coaches Jim, Melissa, and all of their assistant coaches are all great with kids of all ages!

Our boys started about three months ago and absolutely love it! All the coaches have been amazing! They take their time to ensure all students are using the correct techniques as well as ensuring safety. I also think it’s important to state that Coach Jim and Coach Melisa go out of their way to make sure everyone feels at home, and comfortable in their facility. We suggest Alers Martial Arts to anyone looking to get started or find a new location. ❤️

I was able to attend this school and train jiujitsu for a short time, about 6 months, but in that time I noticed my skills multiply threefold. The instructors here are amazing and were able to really push me, but they were also filled with compassion and were super understanding. The thing that appealed to me the most about this gym was the intimate, family-like environment they had and how absolutely welcoming everyone was. I highly recommend it if you're thinking about going!

This was the first gym/club I ever joined, and it’s been one of the best decisions: as a beginner that had never done a kickboxing class, I felt wholly welcomed and supported in this space from day one. The coaches (shoutout to Nia and Jim!) are so patient and supportive, and they truly create a sense of community among everyone. My partners—many of whom have been practicing for a while—are always excited to help me. I sincerely appreciate how kind everyone is in this space. They’re always down for a conversation about everything and nothing, and they emphasize going at our own pace while also pushing us to challenge ourselves. I’m so much more confident thanks to this space, and I look forward to every class. You’re the best, AMA!

By far the best martial arts experience I had in a long time. I wanted to get back to kickboxing and learn jujitsu and Jim and his team were incredible. Great teachers with real experience. A bunch of professional fighters train there and they all very humble and make you feel welcomed.
Very affordable and fair price, highly recommended ?

If you want a home away from home look no further. First gym I ever felt at home and comfortable in. Training and coaching here is always the happiest part of my day. The knowledge from coach Jim and all the other coaches is unmatched. I have never felt like I was being left behind or alone. Very family friendly and chill environment. With the friendliest people.

Both my kids have been going to Alers Martial arts for over 2 years now. All the coaches are very knowledgeable and great with kids. Its feels like a big family. My kids love going every day and they have met great friends there. I highly recommend it for kids and adults as well.
